T.O.P.S., the Off-Price Show's retailer outreach program, is designed to answer those questions and others for both long-term and new buyers attending the Off-Price Specialist Shows. T.O.P.S. expert staff were on hand at the recentFebruary Show to educate Las Vegas Fashion Week buyers about the great fashion buying opportunities available at the Show.

Located in the Sands Expo lobby adjacent to the Show Registration counters, the T.O.P.S. exhibit showcased top fashions selected by "Trend Spotters," students from the International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) who shopped the Show floor. The fashions, which changed daily, were displayed on mannequins in the T.O.P.S. exhibit. The IADT students also modeling selected outfits throughout the Sands Expo and in the main hallway outside the Venetian Ballrooms.

"T.O.P.S. was a great success at the August and February Shows," says Don Browne, Off-Price Specialist Center marketing director. "The IADT students do a wonderful job selecting on-trend fashions. Apparel retailers are hungry for information and tips on how they can build their bottom line. It all starts with buying. Our tag line has been 'you have to buy right to sell right.' The T.O.P.S. program is there to help buyers do just that."

New-Buyer Tours were offered throughout the Show. Seasoned buying expert David Abate led the tours, providing participants with an overview of the Show floor, answering questions, and offering tips on how to get the most out of the off-price buying experience.
